Your options

What are your options after a premium increase?

You can keep your tariff, switch to another Generali tariff at any time, or move to another insurer, and none of them is right for everyone. Which option costs less over the years depends on your age, your health, when your contract started and your tariff. We work it out with you, free, also when the answer is a tariff switch within Generali.

  • Keep your tariff

You pay the new premium and keep your cover, your tariff and your savings for old age exactly as they are.

  • Switch tariff, same insurer

A Tarifwechsel moves you to another tariff with your insurer, at any time. Your savings for old age (Altersrückstellungen) stay in full, and only benefits you add need health questions.

  • Change insurer

You start a new contract after a new health assessment, which we check anonymously first. Only part of your savings for old age moves with you.
